Pace RC150 Monster Fork

Tools required and recommended

Firstly, I am not an expert in servicing mountain bike forks or work in the bike industry, i have only done a general service and oil change on my other Pace forks (RC36 Proclass 2 with lockout).

I like to maintain my own bike and look after all components on the bikes I own, so resisted the urge to send to Pace for servicing, after all i would learn nothing from that!

I bought these Pace RC150 Monster forks when looking for a cheap pair of long travel suspension forks for a new free ride bike i was building (Coyote DH3). I made the mistake of buying in the dark without a proper examination of the forks. It turns out the forks had several issues and i could find very little information about them on the web, so here is what i have learn about the RC150s from my rebuilding and servicing. If anyone finds this information I hope it is of use to you.
